ISLAND BEACH VOLLEYBALL ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES THE WINNERS OF THE "COORS LIGHT LONG BEACH AMERICAN CLASSIC 2003" Albert Hannemann, Scott Lane, Brian Soldano and Jake Elliott Split Men's Open Title Tyra Harper and Franci Rard Win the Women's Open Title

New York, NY, July 16, 2003 -- This past weekend, July 12-13th, was Island Beach Volleyball Association's (IBVB) second annual "Coors Light Long Beach American Classic 2003" tournament in Long Beach, Long Island, NY. Hoards of beachgoers came out to watch Top AVP (Association of Volleyball Professionals), FIVB (Federation Internationale de Volleyball) and Top local players battle each other for more than $10,000 in cash and prizes.

Men's
Open    1st place (split decision due to darkness) - Albert Hannemann & Scott Lane
                             - Brian Soldano & Jake Elliott
    3rd place – David Smith & Jason Lee
    4th place – Amaury Velasco & Morgan Chapman
    5th place – David Fischer & Ed Ratledge
    6th place – Brad Torsone & Elvis Rodriguez
    7th place – David DiPierro & Mike DiPierro
    8th place - Rafeale DeVella & Chris Dellemorte

Women's
Open     1st place - Tyra Harper & Franci Rard
    2nd place - Jill Leake & Stasia DeBonis
    3rd place - Cathy von Schoenermarck & Laura Romeika
    4th place – Teri Van Dyke & Jane Linn
