LONG BEACH CLEAN WATER DIVISION MAKES SPLASH WITH COMMUNITY BASED WEB PRESENCE

Long Beach, CA - September 21, 2001 - ASTRALcom Internet Solutions [http://www.astralcom.com announced today the launch of their latest web project: City of Long Beach - Department of Public Works' Clean Water Division.

"To help folks learn how to be the solution to pollution," says Tom Leary, Interim Clean Water Program Officer, "I needed a tool that was dynamic, accessible and, if I want to keep the audience's attention, just plain fun! ASTRALcom has provided me with that tool and will continue to help me "raise the bar" as my audience becomes better educated."

Erik Jensen, Director of Design at ASTRALcom says, "This site allows the community to learn how they can help reduce pollution and change their community for the better." Jensen added, "The site also helps children in the community via a series of online educational games that we are implemented to help teach them the specifics about stormwater pollution."

ASTRALcom Director of Relations Richard Bergér is excited about the launch and says, "This has been another great opportunity for us to work closely with the City in providing solutions that help make the local government more integrated with the community.
